You
are painting your nails with a nail polish, but in the middle you will
find the whole content of the bottle gets spilled on your carpet, and
then what will you do? No need to think about manicure at that time. I
have given few tips to get nail polish off from the carpet.
Act Fast
If
you will find a nail polish related stain, then you need to act as fast
as possible because if you will wait for a long period, then the entire
content is getting deposited on the rugs. Therefore you cannot easily
remove those dried stains.
Smudge don't rub
When
you will find a nail polish related stain on the carpet, at that
instant you might be grabbing a paper or clean towel to rub. If you will
do the same, then it will lead to push the nail paint content on the
floor covering. Instead of doing that, you need to blot the covering.
First start from the edges then the entire inward so that the stains
cannot spread.
Remove the Excess Amount
Before
using any cleansing products, remove the stain as much as possible. You
should blot the stain with a paper towel or a cloth.
Apply cleansing products on a Test Patch
Before
cleaning with any kind of products, first you should use it in an
unseen area. It is very essential because some cleaning dyes cause the
removing of carpet's color along with nail paint stain.
Remove the Stain
If a light colored nail polishing is getting spilled, then you need to use a non-acetone remover. If your carpet is having a dark color then you use a hair spray or rubbing alcohol.
Rinse
If
the stain gets removed, then cleanse the affected area with water. if
your carpet smells like nail paint, then you need to wash with the
mixture of dishwashing liquid, detergent and warm water.
If all the above process doesn’t work out, then contact a professional cleaner like Brite Carpet Cleaners.
