Smudge

Cover with the coat of powder

After the smudging procedure, you need to cover the stain with a coat of powder like baking soda or corn starch. Let this coat for 24 hours. If your waiting time for the coating is long enough, then vacuum up the powder. After that you have to see whether the stain is gone or not. If it is gone, then it is great. Cleanse with dish washing soap

If the oil stain remains as it is on your carpet, then you may take a help of grease fighting dish washing soap. For this purpose you should make a solution of dishwashing detergent and water solvent. After that you need to apply on the stain. With the employment of brush or sponge you need to scrub it and after that you should leave that carpet for 1-2 minutes. Then cleanse with water to remove the stain.
